Hello I want to thank Major Geeks for helping conquer a rather nasty virus. I used the Read Me thread and those tools performed magnificently. My computer is now back to normal with no reformatting necessary.

 

Yup: they saved me last time, when I tried to clean up a friend's computer from this bogus "antivirus 2008"... But now I've got another friend, w/all kinds of fake antivirus stuff on his...only bummer is, this time, even running all the stuff didn't seem to speed up very slow computer...but it sure caught a lot: Vundo, and Malwareguard, and PerformanceOptimizer....
