I am currently working on a customers computer removing alot of spyware and adware. I went about your technique of removing the software by using SuperAntiSpyware first then Spybot. I still had CoolWebSearch present in the computer and decided to use the Malwarebytes software to hopefully remove the last piece of spyware. Upon completion of the scan and reboot, I tried to log into the customers user account and it would load the settings but then quickly log off the account. I tried rebooting into safe mode with no avail. What can be done to the computer in order to save it and no have to install a clean version of windows?

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

This can happen due to registry corruption or it can be due to the userinit.exe file being deleted/ corrupted or the registry keys that load userint.exe during startup being modified. Your best bet is to follow the below Microsoft procedure assuming you have Windows XP.
