Programs Continuously Deselect and Games Constantly Minimize

I'm not sure why, but in the last week programs have constantly been deselected themselves, making it nearly impossible to type (in fact I misspelled my forum name because of this) or to complete normal tasks. Furthermore games (notably Skyrim, as this is the only game I have played on my PC lately) will minimize. If I open it up again, it immediately minimizes. Any help would be appreciated.

I have run virus/malware scans numerous times with iolo System Mechanic Professional, but they have come up clean. I have also seen numerous other forums pointing toward staring at the processes tab, looking for random opening and closing programs, however I have been unable to see any.

Welcome to the Malware Removal Forum.

Please read ALL of this message including the notes before doing anything.

Pleases follow the instructions in the below link:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • **** If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. ****
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. MGtools will frequently run even when all other tools will not.

    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes while logged into this other user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, ComboFix and MGtools on the infected account as requested in the instructions.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

These are two of the logs, one from SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes. I accepted the terms for combofix and it began unzipping files (at least that's what it said in a black box with scrolling green text), but then the box closed and no further windows appeared. I didn't do RootRepeal because I have a 64-bit operating system. I started MGTools, but got an error saying

"Application has generated an exception that could not be handeled

    Process id=0x1670 (5744),Thread id=0x1824 (6180)

Click OK to terminate the application
Click Cancel to debug the application"

I clicked cancel but it said I did not have a JIT debugger or something, so it said I could either manually apply one or terminate the application. I terminated it because I have no idea what a JIT debugger is, or how to use one.

    Download OTL to your desktop.

    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Vista and Windows 7 users Right-click OTL and choose Run as Administrator)
    • When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
    • Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
    • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.

When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.

Attach both of these logs into your next reply.

Ok here are the logs. I also forgot to mention that I've been getting weird blogtalkradio clips playing in the background, and I don't think they're coming from browser ads or Skyrim (that would be weird).

    :commands
    [EMPTYTEMP]
    [RESETHOSTS]
    [REBOOT]
    • Then click the Run Fix button at the top.
    • OTL may ask to reboot the machine. Please do so if asked.
    • The report should appear in Notepad after the reboot. ATTACH that report in your next reply.

Are you now able to run Combofix and/or MGTools? If not... just run OTL again like you did in my post #4 and attach the log. If you were able to, then please attach the logs from them.

I ran the OTL fix and got to the reboot, but Windows was unable to restart and I had to perform a system repair which as far as I can tell reset my computer back to earlier today, erasing any changes the OTL fix may have made. For this reason I didn't try Combofix or MGTools, as nothing was changed. I'm afraid to do much more since all of this is beyond me and I don't really know what I'm doing, so I might just wait to bring it in to a professional who can do it for me. Also as a side note, I could find those exact media/toolbars, only a program file named searchqutoolbar.
