creativity ,gimp or graphics/ultimate paint ?

I am trying to do icons with audio. Will gimp or some other program do this? I looked around at sites for free icons. Was the old toilet bowl for the recycle bin from an earlier version of windows ?

Load up the icons you wish for an empty and a full recycle bin.

Then grab a wav file and associate it with emptying the recycle bin.
Right click the desktop>Personalize>Sound>at sound tab you will find the list of events, scroll down until you find "Empty Recycle Bin" Click on that and click Browse. Locate your WAV file. Put it in there and try to test it.

Thank you for your response. I still have win xp. Im not sure how to, if the path you stated was for Win 7.

Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sounds tab.
You'll need to save your sound theme in the box at the top by givng it a name.

Got the sound part workin. Trying to figure how to change the icon picture. TY!!
Need to add to the icon cache. How do I do that? TY !

Thanx for the response. I found an old post from similar.Can't recall Moderators name ,but anyway I used program they recommended to change JPEg to icon. Thanx again !
