   Hi,
   My father-in-law, really, can't get into windows ME because he can't remember his name or password. Tried to boot in safe mode but keep ending up at the same screen. Think my brother-in-law, really, set it up and now can't get to windows. Any ideas?

   Just hit escape on the keyboard until your desktop comes up.. WIndows ME doesn't have a true multi-user environment..
