I tried installing Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast to play it again but partially through installation it froze and I had to terminate the setup program. I tried uninstalling it and deleted all the game files on my hard drive but now when I try to install with the CD it keeps asking me if I want to uninstall it and will only enter the uninstall procedure. No matter how many times I go through it I can't get to the install procedure, even going into the CD's files and running the setup.exe file it still only tries to uninstall the game. Theres nothing to uninstall and there's no way to install the game now. Is there some way to fix this?'

Is it an actual game disc or is it copied?

    Have you tried add/remove programs?

Have you tried using CCleaner to make sure it's completely gone?

It's an actual game disc, yeah I've tried all the regular methods of uninstalling, I go through Ad/Remove Programs but it never goes away after uninstalling it.

You couldn't remove it with CCLeaner?

Yep, just tried it and no change. I also tried deleting it from the registry.

But there are no game files on my hard drive. I deleted all the folders already.

So all the game files are gone, but it's still in your registry?

Did you click on "issues" in ccleaner and click "scan for issues"?
    Than select "fix issues"
That should get rid of them. Make sure to make a backup of the registry when prompted to do so.

No, there is no trace of the game on my machine anymore, there is nothing in the registry or hard drive, it is still listed in the Add/Remove programs menu but no matter how many times I go through it it is still listed. I've used all the methods of CCleaner. Thanks for all the suggestions though.
