Computer wont recognize my cd/dvdr

    I have a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L on my hp and the computer wont recognize my drive. I do not have a back up for it, I have deleted the filters that were supposedly restricting it, and I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it still won't work. I am at a total loss here. If anyone could help point me in the right direction, it would be most appreciated. Thank you

    Try the search function first, typing in 'recognise dvd drive' etc as you may get ideas/help from someone else's previous thread.
