Opera 7.10

Well rto me it seems like the early versions where better in some respects.

I am ~trying~ to find the following things (I have searcehd a lot of places but turnd up blanks)

The aviod flicker option
The double click on seledcted text to bring up the copy/psate otpions... I likeed that (last seen in verion 6x I think

I think thats all, I dont really want to down grade... but I liked those things...

any ideas?

 

Hi, I hate to suggest this but Opera does have it's own forum with more or less specialists to answer questions. It also has staff members there too.

THey are also letting out a new version at the moment. It was mentioned here but at the Opera forum it suggested it was a bit premature and was withdrawn. I am using it downloaded from here with no problems.

I am not certain about your concerns I use a right click to copy etc. Peace Mal

 

useing opera 7.11 love it fast even the free version

 

STILL doesn't support I-frame properly.

because I use inline frames here and there for background processing in my web apps and it doesn't refresh them properly.

 

yeah I know, it's far from perfect, but I can't stand to use anything based on IE anymore, it's just gotten so slow.

 

that is the one single thing keeping me from using it full time.
