pci flash memory software

Hi. Searched for a while and can't find an answer I understand. When I start my computer it asks for pci flash memory software. I already have the driver installed. Where can I find this for an old acer 5100? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Hey cevans, welcome to MG's .You should go to the acer website. Go through help & support and download drivers. Enter your model number and OS and d'load the card reader driver. Once down loaded just double click to run it. Let us know how it went.

START, RUN, then type in:

devmgmt.msc (press enter)

Any yellow !'s? If so list them here.

BTW, what OS is this?

 

Acer aspire 5100 series model BL51. Operating system Windows xp professional> Yellow flags 3 under other: PCI flash memory> my computer is looking for the software for pci flash memory.

Have the drivers I think. Computer only asking for pci flash memory software.

 

Ok, try updating the drivers from device manager. IF update does not work out, try the Acer site for the driver. This is for your card reader.

Just wanted to confirm that that was the only problem. Though, using windows updates for the drivers isn't always the best solution. But, it is a solution.
