I recently installed Vista along with XP. Everything works well with my dual boot project, but I don't have sound in Vista. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting, etc, and still have no sound. Device manager reports that "device cannot start" code 10. All windows audio services are running and set to automatic. I'm having difficulties find an update for my chipset, I figure this should be my first step?

If you have not installed drivers for it, do so now:

If you have installed drivers, uninstall them, go to device manager, click on the hardware with exclamation point and remove it. Reboot, reinstall drivers.

I tried this method yesterday with no success, I gave it another try, but still end up with the same "!" and error code 10.
