lap and desk freezing

Hi ... sorry but i am so new at this posting thing. i have had this site bookmarked for years. just registered today. having major stalling problems on a laptop and desktop. i installed from a cd a wireless internet modem to use with a satellite service. have it on a second laptop and it works fine. i do just fine offline on the 2 that stall but 2 or 3 minutes online and it freezes. page won't load, mouse won't move locked. please any ideas anyone thank you in advance. this is a very helpful site.

 

i seem to be all alone in here. is this where i'm suppose to post any questions i may have. help please stressing.
