Need help with Kaspersky Rannoh decrypter.

Hi there people of this forum. I am a new person here, and have been searching the net regarding a trojan that locks you out of windows (Ukash scamware) , and that it also can encrypt your files .

Well ive got this very problem . Ive got rid of the lock out part of the scam ware and just need some help Decrypting my files using kaspersky,s tool.

Somone else here had the very same problem in using the software that ive got, and so to further explaiin things, the only way i can was to copy the convo . sorry in advance if im breakng any rules here.

But I need assistance, I downloaded the file and started it, but when I start the scan, the app. asks a original copy of at least one of the encrypted files larger than 4096 bytes. I need to specify the path....., well what have i to do next, I take a file in my documents that is infected (I cannot choose a folder), then I have to specify the path to encrypted file..., to be honest I don't know what to do next, when I press the same file, then it says it is equal, when I choose another file, then it says it is not equal to the orginal...)

From Thisisu,s reply post, i understand clearly how to use the software, but im not getting any further with decryption. Im using the same pair of files (one encrypted, one decrypted) to let the software do its thing, but all it keeps tellng me is the files size is not equal to the original. Well seeing as im using the same one file which is 1.99gb (a video file) , what am i gettng wrong here?

Would appreciate any assistance on this, as its driving me nuts. lol.

Rannoh Decypter not Working after Ukash scamware attack

Hi people. Im in real need of a solution to my trouble with Kaspersky decrpter, as when im using it, it does not want to decrypt my files that i currently CANNOT use on my windows 7 laptop.

Ive followed this tutorial from a guy who seemed liked he knew what he was talking about from you tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02LXkh2HXsE) which was very handy.

I have a little experiace in navigating the registry so i followed his steps anyway. At 3.35 in he explains the REG KEY which i had to alter and rename back to Explorer.exe so i could get back to the windows 7 desktop. After catching this fake metropolitoan police scamware, alot of stuff became locked, and although the file names doesnt have the word LOCKED for the ones that are supposedly encrypted, i downloaded and followd some instructions from an experianced person of this forum.

So as of this moment, though i ran the software, it doesnt seem to work as it keeps tellng me THE FILE SIZE IS NOT EQUAL TO THE OTHER when they clearly are as im using the same decrpted file and encrypted file to make the software do its thing. What am i doing wrong here?
