This is not really malware. It is probably just an outdate script in your Java cache folder that has potection security risks. Since I don't know what version of Java you are running I will suggest multiple procedures to try to clear your cache

    Method 1:

Click Start->Control Panel->Java->Settings->Delete Files and click OK and OK.

    Method 2:

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel and double click the Java icon (be patient, it may take a while to open) Now click the General tab and under the Temporary Internet File area Click the Settings button and then click the Delete Files... button. In the next popup click OK.

If you have multiple Java plugin icons in Control Panel follow the above to clear all their caches

    Method 3:
    1. From the Start button, click Settings > Control Panel
    2. In the Control Panel, open the "Java Plug-in Control Panel"
    3. Select the Cache Tab
    4. Click the Clear button inside the Cache Tab, which will clear your JRE cache directory.
    Did the above help?

I deleted the cache and ran the scan again it is still on the machine and I get a message that it can't be removed can I remove java all together and reinstall a newer version?

Yes but you will have to make sure you uninstall ALL version and then make sure you delete all left behind folders since they don't clean up after themselves. Then you need to reboot and run a scan to see if you are clean. If you are clean, then you can install the new version.

But note: If the file being found is not in one of your Java folders, doing the above is not going to remove it. Since you never told me exactly where the exploit was found, I cannot say exactly what will fix it. It could be in your Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files folder.
