    Hello!

I just received a "rebuilt" computer, my dad reused my old case and reformatted my hard drive etc...

Well, before he took it, it had sound - now it doesn't. If I go to control panel, sound devices, it says "no audio device" under the volume tab, yet under hardware, it says I have Audio Codecs & Legacy Audio Drivers. If I click on the audio tab, all boxes are unsellectable :(

Are you able to help? Thanks!

Is it onboard sound card or a PCI sound card ?

Did you install the driver for your soundcard ?
