does anyone know how to get rid of the cannot find file:/// at startup

    I get a windows explorer cannot find file:/// when I start the computer. It goes away if I click on close, but it is annoying and makes me wonder if there is malware in the system. I've run virus and spyware checkers without any luck.

    Welcome to MG, kirk48 :wave I think you would get a lot more response, if you posted your question in the Software section, as there are a lot more eyes there, than here... I am sure you will get an answer there. Maybe, even more than one!! ;)
