Hi all, new here -- have a question

Hello all. I don't know where to post this question so I'll ask here and wait for a response:

Has been updated for a while and hasn't been updated here. The package has a little bit of a convoluted history. The guy who originally put the package together, had personal issues and has not been around for a while. It has since been taken over by a guy using the moniker PROBLEMCHYLD. Where do I ask about getting the files listed here updated? Is/Are there any additional info needed/question that need answered?

novice here, so please excuse my ignorance...

every time i open a new window in chrome i am prompted, by avg, to remove a trojan horse: adinjector.b (avg then tells me, each time, that it's been successfully removed................)

have also tried disabling avg - to enable system restore - but system restore still fails each time, and the ****ing thing (trojan) still comes up on every page.

any ideas on how to remove it, please, and is it a major threat?
