intel 6700

i was thinking of buying the intel core 2 6700 2.66 ghz proc, Can someone tell me if it is compatible with vista 64bit or is it a 32bit proc?

 

64 bit processor so yes vista 64 ok

 

can you tell me were to find out the spec for q6700 i cant find anywere were it says its a 64bit proc

 

here you go look under multimedia instruction and youll see em64t (translated 64 bit capable) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115002 the q6700 is the same thing except 2 of these on 1 chip hope that helps
