I've been having a problem with some registry settings. I tried to add support to C module files by editing the registry directly. Now, the settings are there. However, the new menu options don't appear in the context menu. Instead, the old menu is there--one before an installation of VC++ Express. I got the answer when I asked on another group: maybe the system is reading the 32-bit version of the entry, while I'm adding to the 64-bit version or vice-versa. Now, as I implied, I am able to edit the registry myself. I have just one question: how do I switch a Registry setting to use either the 32-bit or 64-bit setting?

I have several batch files and utilities to make my life with C modules easier, but I can't use them until I fix the registry settings. Please help! :/
