Itunes won't install after Win 10 - Win 7 re-install?

    I tried upgrading this Dell Inspiron 1525 to Windows 10 OS but speed was too slow so I reverted back to Windows 7 using the recovery directions given by MS. I ran into multiple problems and decided to do a complete Win 7 re-install from my original OEM disc. Now I cannot get Itunes software to install. I get an error message: (image attached)

    'There is a problem with this Windows installer package" ...

    All my other software works fine so far. What can I try now?

    Is Windows 7 fully upto date with all updates that are current?

    Some thoughts
    https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201668 (random but make sure you have 32bit iTunes if your Windows 7 is 32bit if 64bit get the 64bit package)

    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4311 - right click and run as administrator, should not need to but dont know your security settings, also disable any security software just in case those are strangely blocking the install

    Try this FixIt https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall if it sees Apple software updater then remove it, also check in add/remove for anything Apple related and uninstall, then reboot and try installing again.

    Got it done with ver 10.3.1 64 bit.
