I have a Cannon MP620B printer connected via USB. There is nothing else connected to my PC.

Each time I try to install the printer, I get the message.

    Spooler service has been stopped.
Restart the computer to start the print spooler and try again.
    This does nothing.

    Thanks in advance!!!

Not sure with Win7, but have you tried going to start / run / and type:
    services.msc

That should open your services window where you should scroll down to the print spooler and start it. Maybe?

    Indeed, Tim!

    That's exactly how it worked.

It opened Services and I scrolled down to Print Spooler - doubled clicked to open and set it to automatic and clicked start.

    Thank you!!!
