    I have WinXP home version

I'm having problems viewing certain pages. If I go to a math site, for example, all I see is an empty box with a small red x in the upper left corner. Am I missing a plug in? If so, which one and where can I get it? Thanks in advance!

    Okay, here's one, http://www.ies.co.jp/math/java/calc/gobib/gobib.html.
I can see the text at the top of this page and then a large empty box with an x in the corner. I have Sun Java installed. This is just one of the many pages I can't view because of the red x.

if you have Sun Java installed then it's either disabled or some other program is not allowing java applets to load.

I'm sorry, it's just Java. Should I have a 'proxy' for my Java. I don't know what a proxy is and I have it set for 'use Java plug-in default'
