looking for a price estimate / what to get

yeah well for my new comp i'm lookin for

cpu - 3.0ghz dual core processor
ram - 2gb ram( whatever is compatible to mobo)
mobo - anything that supports pci-e,sata,2gb ram,dual core processor
hd - 74gb raptor sata
hd - 500gb storage.. sata
vid - 640mb dx10 compatible
case - something with good airflow or water cooled
psu - 500-800watts

ive got the other stuff.. cd,dvd,monitor, etc.. i got a friend who said the price range was 500-1200$ but that didnt help at all...

 

Your friend was in the ballpark... I'd say more like $900+ depending on where you buy the hardware....

 

im planning to buy it all in ebay/tigerdirect.. just the cheapest thing i can get online really...
