I have an Inspirion 1150 and lately when I turn off the laptop it will not power back on at first or second or multiple attempts. It usually only comes on by a variety of chicanery. Each attempted start up the computer starts for 3 to 5 seconds in then clicks off.

I guess it could be a battery problem. Each start up attempt however has occured with AC power being used and the battery in the computer. I have tried taking the battery out and being solely on AC power and taken the AC cord out and being solely on battery power either way the start up is the same.
