    Hi there...

im using an aztech switch with 2 laptops connected too my broadband connection. I've noticed generally faster speeds (browser, d/l etc) when only one laptop is connected.
    my broadband speed is 1Mbps.

So would like to knw if there're any settings that can be done on the router to increase speeds on individual laptops while both are connected. as in the speed i get when only one is connected...
and also...i've done some port forwarding for my utorrent...does it affect the general internet speed?

    thanks in advance!

When you connect two computers they share the "Speed".

If the max, Speed of your connections is 1Mb/sec., when you use one computer it gets 1Mb/sec. When you use two both are sharing this 1MB/sec. between them, so each gets less.
