My computer is running extremely slow

My pc runs slow because i have to many programs and such running in the background. I know what some of the processes are, but their are some that are a puzzle to me.
Can you tell me what the IMPORTANT processes are in my log file? thanks

need help i download startup inspector for windows and made a few changes to my computer and now i can't get in to my add\remove programs in control panel , and some of my dest top short cuts tell me that something to do with cpl i don't know much about this but rundll32 has something to do with it can't format c;drive because of losing every thing and don't have back up disk and drivers that came wiht computer i got a real deal yard sale 25$ gateway 2000 with me windows and amd what ever that is . I work on car's in sprae time and don't know any thing about computers yet. any help would be app. and thanks again cardoc

 

Windows ME is just a flavor of windows (basically 98 with window dressing)

You say

sounds like its time to do a sytem restore--start>programs>accessories>system restore

You will be given an option to roll back or make a restore point ----HOPEFULLY whoever had it before created at least one or two restore points.

windows likes to be reinstalled cleanly once in a while. Ask around at work or ?? you would be surprised who is a geek --you SHOULD be able to find someone with a copy of ME or other operating systems(linux etc)

try the restore option first
