    Hi
I'm getting a BSoD STOP 50/ igdpmd64.sys every 10-15 minutes on my Dell Vostro 3350 running Windows 7.

When it restarts, it indicates the following
    Problem Even Blue Screen
    OS Version 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
    Locale ID: 1033
    BCCode:50
    OS Version 6_1_7601
    Service Pack 1_0
    Prod 256_1

    There were
    - no installation of new hardware
    - two critical Windows 7 updates around the time
    - and install/uninstall of Quitado Flash Player.

I'm not sure if it is malware. I have attached the logs from the various scans - any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Many thanks!

    Carlos

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

It does not appear to be a malware problem. Your logs are clean. I suggest that you uninstall those Windows Updates you mentioned and see what happens. Also you could try using System Restore to go back to a restore point ( like 2/27 ) from before the changes were made.

    You're welcome.
Yes thanks. I had seen that. Quite a few HP and Dell users have had problems with this update.

Just an FYI for anyone else having the problem, here is some key info from that thread

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go back to step 4 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
