Help! I changed the password on my daughter's computer so she could only go on it when we (parents) are around. Now she wants to use it and I cannot remember it for the life of me. Is there a way to get around this, reset this or correct this. I cannot get through the welcome screen.

Boot to Safe Mode, log into the Administrator account and change her password.

    Assuming you are on XP-

Reboot, tap F8 to get an advanced option menu, choose "safe mode". In safe mode, you should have a new "administrator" account you can log into. Log onto that, go to start-run: "control userpasswords2" (no quotes), highlight your daughter's account, and click "reset password." Change it to whatever, reboot, and it should work! Best o'luck! :)

EDIT: or just do what Shadow_Puter_Dude just said- sorry, we must have been posting at the same time. :)
