Win32:Rootkit-gen

Hi guys when i follow the instructions for the "Malware Removal Guide", while downloading ComboFix avast antivirus says this "Malware Was Found":

Malware name: Win32:Rootkit-gen [Rtk]
Malware type: Rootkit

the file is 1.82MB but avast only allows 1.73MB to be downloaded. Any ideas please? Thanks

Just run the other scans first and attach the logs.

Please go to the READ & RUN ME FIRST and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Select the link to the instructions for your operating system and on the page that opens up, download and install Combofix and the the MGTools. If you don't want to run Combofix, just run the MGTools. This will allow us to see better if there are any infected files left.
