Hey, I've never used dll's before in Blitz3D and I am in need of some help. How exactly can I get the internal speaker of a computer beep? I know theres a dll involved but I haven't got a clue on how to use them yet :( I literally a step by step guide telling me exactly how to load the dll and make a beep. Any help would be great!

P.S An example would be perfect! :D

Do you really need a DLL to make the internal speaker beep?

In C (and so this could be different with Blitz3D) you print ASCII character 7. This results in the internal speaker doing the default beep.

I would expect a DLL for managing a soundcard given the complexity associated with that but not so much with sending the OS a basic signal and it following it...
