    hi!

    i've this mobo:
    http://download.gigabyte.ru/manual/mb_manual_ga-z97(h97)-hd3_e.pdf

and at pag 17 there is my bios..

i'd like to, as on my old win xp, have this sequence of boot:

    1 my cd dvd drive

2 win boot manager (my win 8.1 s.o)

if i do so and i've in the cd dvd drive a cd bootable the boot is correctly
from that cd BUT is there is no cd in the boot is not load from my win 8.1 s.o
but i see a black page with: ntdlr missing press ctrl alt del to re boot..

in my old win xp instead in that case i was able to boot my s.o., win xp..

now this chance seems missing..am i wrong..?

    could you pls help me..??!!

    cheers!

    :)

    Hi

    So your boot order is:

    CD Drive
    HDD Windows 8.1

    ??

and this gives you the error you mention? if so do you have a CD disk in the drive when you boot as if you do then it may not be a bootable CD/DVD and cause this error, personally I have the HDD Windows 8 as 1st boot then CD/DVD as 2nd
