Yeah! Someone had posted a video on that a while back. It is pretty darn slick!

Thanks Halo and M_M for comments and links. :cool I wonder how long it will be before it percolates down to our PC's. At least 5 years, I guess. Bazza

Surface is not new, been in dev for a while and iirc a big company is rolling this out soon, forget who.. ok by the power of "Live Search" its AT&T http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=2604 so I would thing with the way tech moves, maybe 5yrs or half that. Make a great coffee table PC, as you can or should be able with Bluetooth cameras and mobiles upload download data.

A coffee table PC would be great, Halo. I assume an on-screen keyboard would be part of it. Protects against coffee spills. :D Bazza

Yep its all controlled by the power of your grubby fingers ;)

Actually if you have not viewed the demos on the MS site I linked to do so as they are impressive ( listed under Videos )

The remixes I could make with a toy like that...... heheh... that would be sooo cool to be able to actually use my hands to work with the waveforms in the music to do my remixes instead of sitting here with my trackball and mouse...

ah well... not likely to be in my home any time soon :(
