Hi everyone.

Wow, I haven't had to come here for a while, I had even forgotten my login details.

So, my new problem(s) started earlier today. I have done the usual net search with no one really answering my question!

I have Nitro PDF, and when it came to creating combined files pdf, it just hung there, so I figured it may be a file error, but no, it continued no matter what files I used , even though yesterday, it worked fine!

So I decided to uninstall, it kinda did, with an ETA remaining of 15secs, it remained there for over an hour. So I had to force shut down program.

Then in Microsoft Office 2010, Word, when it came to altering margin sizes, or enter file tab it came up, 'program not responding', further details gave me this....

Now Microsoft Office 2010 Publisher on start up states that it is trying to connect to printer, I can cancel that, then it does it again when I wish to open a document, again I tell it to cancel, but then hangs with 'program not responding' no further details though.

I am running Windows 7; 4 gig ram blah blah blah.

Last night I had a BSoD come up with a IRQL_NOT LESS OR EQUAL. I restarted in safe mode and it suggested I run an diagnostic, I did, it came back fine! I also ran a virus scan, again all fine!

Yesterday, all my systems worked fine!

I need this fixing asap with as little effort as possible, I work from home now so the computer is major, if I don't have it, they will send me back to the office 'nooooooo I cant go back, I wont go back!!!'

OKay, I had done a diagnostic and virus check, nothing came up.

I did a net search for this problem and got nothing.

Posted on here, went through a few threads; mafia 2 etc.

Thought, 'Bugger it' and shut down.

Booted up this morning; completely forgot about the problem, started word to do some work; went to set a margin, checked narrow, thought 'oh crap' as I remembered the problem and it just worked!

So I tried Nitro PDF and it combined all the files it wouldn't yesterday.

Well, publisher, it works fine!


As I said, I have no idea what I did, it just works!

LOl yes my plan worked, the idea was to convince the computer I really didn't care anymore! lol

 

Something that was posted made me shut off IE and use Chrome instead. Now everything seems to work fine.

What is AppHangProcB1? I seemed to pick it up during my battle with startnow.com.
