unable to delete 1st network admin server file

    Hi, I tried a software called 1st Network Client. Didn't like it so I deleted everything. But there is a file (NetAdminService.exe) that is undeletable. I've run regedit and deleted everything that has to do with this software. I tryed manualy to disable this servive but doesn't work. I tried to delete it with it with hijack this...doesn't work. (O23 - Service: NetAdminClientListener - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\1st Network Admin Client\NetAdminService.exe)

    Can somebody help me out.

    The Malware Forum is for malware problems. You shoud be posting in the Software Forum.

    Did you delete it or did you uninstall it? You should not be manually deleting. You must use uninstall to properly uninstall programs.

    uninstalled the software then manually deleted everything related in the registry

    Okay! Then you can just stop and disable the service using services.msc.

    • Click on Start, then Run ... type services.msc into the box that opens up, and press 'OK'.
    • On the page that opens, scroll down to NetAdminClientListener
    • then right click the entry, select Properties and press Stop Service.
    • When it shows that it is stopped, next please set the Start-up Type to 'Disabled'.
    • Click OK until you get back to Windows.

    All 4 buttons are disabled (start, stop, suspend...), I can't click on any of them. And if I chose Disabled as a start up type, it get back to Automatic imidiatly.

    + I just tried to start Vista in diagnostic mode, doesn't work either.
