Since I upgraded to Windows Mobile 5.0, my pda uses 1% battery per minute!

It uses alot of battery even when it's off.

I'm running no GPS, wifi, bluetooth. No compact flash card, and I took the sd card out, but still got the same power drain. Before, I could go 4 hours on a battery.

Yes, it's falling faster than there stock :D

I chatted online with Dell customer support, and found out I need to transfer ownership of my pda, which actually was easy.

When I use power save mode, the Axim does not drain nearly as fast. I will see if this holds true when it is turned off.

BTW, I found a solution at aximsite.com. I had to create a fake server for active sync, with manual syncronization, and then delete it. Apparently, there is a positive feedback loop in the programming that cause the pda to sync every 5 minutes, regardless of weather it is on or off.
