Recover OE6 files

    My os win98 crashed and i am trying to recover my OE6 mail files. Normally you recover all mail files with DBX extension. This system has Norton AV on it and all mail files have a MBX and IDX extension. I cannot import back to OE6.
    Does anyone know how to convert MBX back to DBX. Can they be renamed?
    any help would be great. Thanx Al...

    Where are you looking?
    Try windows>local settings>application data>identities>xxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx>microsoft>outlook

    I found the mail files under windows>application data>microsoft>outlook express. Outlook express does not appear under the path you suggested. I also searched the drive for DBX files and none were found. All hidden files are shown. Al....
