(Note: My sig is now out of date).

I just installed a lot of new hardware (video card, Processor, Mobo), and I rebooted my omputer. However, now, after my ESCD is updated, I get a message that states "This file is corrupt or missing: hal.dll. Please reinstall the file and reboot." Hoever, I know that there's nothing wrong with my HDD, beause I've seen this error before. Whenever my CMOS battery dies, this same message used to pop up.
Does anyone know what piece of hardware causes this error? If yuou do, pop me a reply. I a going to replae my hal.dll just in case somehow my files got altered, but I honestly don't think that'll do it. Any suggestions?
