I am not really sure when the problem started but I started noticing that I cannot go in antivirus and microsoft websites today. And, whenever a webpage takes too long to download and I click my taskbar, it freezes and I have to restart my laptop. I did the windows xp cleaning procedure suggested but I still can't get into the antvirus and microsoft websites. here are the logs.

    Hope this helps the problem.

    Thank you very much

It looks like the scans took care of the malware. Let's just do this:

Run this: Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to remove Windows Messenger. Do not confuse Windows Messenger with MSN Messenger because they are not the same. Windows Messenger is a frequent cause of popups.

Now use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

Now use windows explorer to find and delete:
    c:\windows\wt
    c:\program files\WildTangent
    c:\windows\system32\yuiqjqu.dll
    C:\Documents and Settings\Mrs. Gracie Cullen\Local Settings\Application Data\Wildtangent

    Reboot and download and install:
    Java Runtime 6

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file and tell me how things are running.
