Cybersitter

HI all.... I have this issue, i had a internet filter on my computer that i had to get rid of... "Cybersitter" I did not have a password so i proceeded to find what corrsponding files might be associated with this program. there was one .exe that i found which was cyb2k.exe and .dat of the same... the program is still blocking my internet websites I need to access. I don't know much about how to find and destroy this little pest

So if you know what I should be looking for or how to FIND IT plz let me know.

There are probably registry entries left behind after your deletions.

Try RegCleaner or JV16 http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=462 Shareware version. Last free versions are on http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/

Be very careful using these programs as you can really stuff up your PC if you delete the wrong entries. Always backup your Registry first.

Then try Cleanup! http://www.stevengould.org/ and
EmpTemp http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=1575 and

and CrapCleaner aka CCleaner http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4191

to get rid of miscellaneous crap. All 3 are free, and work in harmony with each other. Bazza
