In using fopen() and fwrite() functions... single quotation marks "'" seem's to get replaced with "'/"... when writing to a txt file. Anyone know of a way to fix this

I tried using str_replace() function to replace the "'" with "[]" so that when I used fopen(), I'd reverse the process...but it didn't seem to work...

I'm using PHP 4.3.2 (i think...) windows XP
