This page can’t be displayed

this only happens when searching on yahoo, trying to go to certain web sites from favorites or from yahoo search.Google and a few others not affected. Any ideas or suggestions. Running windows 7, McAfee is also installed

 

What browser? Does the same happen if you use a different browser?

You are talking about search engines rather than browsers. Are you using IE11, Firefox, Chrome, something else?

chrome works fine can do anything

 

Is this recent? Was Yahoo search in IE working OK before?

 

yes it was, started about week an a half ago

 

That might point the finger at the monthly updates - mine were installed on 16th. You have options of course, like use a search engine that works ok, or use Chrome, but if it has to be IE and Yahoo I would roll back pre-updates and see if the problem disappears. If it does then you would have to manually install the updates one at a time to find the culprit. Tedious or what rolleyes

Of course it might be something else completely. Process of elimination.
