my zone alarm (free) wont allow me to go on xbox live. I use internet connection sharing. I have to turn it off to go online but i feel thats a bit risky seeing as i only have windows firewall protecting me then.

got any surgestions or perhaps surgest a good firewall that allows ICS.

    thanks jake

Set a static IP on the xbox and add it to the Trusted Zone in ZA. That should do the trick

So you don't just connect your xbox straight to the router? You connect it through your computer?
What do you need to do that for? I am curious because I just started using Live a few days ago.

I doubt he has a router, otherwise he wouldn't be using ICS
