a friend recommended this site to me after i asked him about alternatives to Norton software and stuff i'm using now.. i was told i could find better virus/security programs here that would be better.. so anyway, i'm here.. im gonna take my time and try to soak as much knowledge up as possible..

thanks for the link.. i downloaded Avast, i plan to check out the other programs listed on that page also. I have one computer that seems to be really screwed up.. it's old, but i still think it should run better than it is.. I don't have enough details to go into the various problems right now, but believe me, i will post about the problems as i come across them..

really, i need a new 2nd computer, but until then, i'd like to get this one in as good a shape as possible..
