Edited my registry and now cannot connect to the internet

I have had terrible problems getting rid of the spyware.
I finally edited my registry following advise from symantec. Now I cannot connect to the internet from that PC although it is on a network that can connect.

 

WIthout additional information, what I would point you is the possibility that the malware you removed had overwritten legitimate Winsock or LSP files and settings. Once you removed the malware, and deleted the registry entries you were left with nothing. Take a look here:

Thanks for your reply. I tried both but it did not resolve the problem. The adware that i was trying to remove had a file lojj.dll. It is called backdooragent.b. Any other suggestions??
