    Hi
After a period of inactivity (upto 1 hour or more) I am connected but cannot access web sites unless I reboot, than all is fine until next period of inactivity.
Can someone help/advise a simple way to reconnect to access web sites without rebooting?
    Tks

You did not provided any technical info so it is impossible to give you focused answer.

Is it a web issue or your computer lose its network connection capacity?

If the computer goes to Standby when this occurs, get the Network Card out of power saving.
