Microsoft IE 5.5 you got it?

Where can I find this?
I am running win95 on an old computer and need ie 5.5 loaded on it.
Any ideas on where to download this?

 

go to microsoft.com and find there download center and then type it in the search.

there the url. under search type in internet explorer and then look for 5.5 but that is a older version so i'm not sure that they have it hosted for download.

You might try looking around for any old discs that may contain it. IE comes bundled on a lot of different software. It could be a game, application, hardware/driver install, Internet service offer or even something that came in a Happy Meal. I have a bunch of discs like that for my old 95 machine and yes I really do have a disc from the kids Happy Meals lol. I think it is an X-men comic on a mini disc or something but not sure because PC is packed away in boxes.

The one I have on my 95 machine is version 5.50.4807.2300 so I think you should be ok with either.
