Intel graphics drivers?

I am trying to update the drivers for my HD display integrated graphics

Its for a i3 540

I go to the intel website and i run the scan for new driver updates and it gives me a a download. However when i tried to run this download it gave my monitor black screens halfway through the installation.

I did this twice so obviously the download doesn't seem to be compatible with my graphics.



The current drivers i have are from 10/13/11 so they are kind of outdated

If i can't get them from the intel site or my pc manufacturer site where else can i find them?

I think i found some for intel hd 4000 but i am not sure those are for mine

 

Go to the motherboard manufacturer's web site and find the downloads for your board.

If you're not sure what it is ....

That is actually quite normal for graphics driver installations. Did the install eventually complete?
