    Hi, i'm new here.

I experience a strong slow down of my pc booting time (now about 120 s.!) and don't understand to what is related.

I've followed the suggestions of your MALWARE REMOVAL GUIDE, including the tips for slow PC issues: basic computer maintenance everyone should do.

I attach the log file of CounterSpy (who found something about email password cracker), Bitdefender, GetRunKey, ShowNew and HijackThis. Panda online scan didn't find anything and i wasn't able to save any log file.

Hope someone can help me to speed-up the boot time and to fix the problem about email password cracker.

    Many thanks in advance :)

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Other than what CounterSpy removed (and that may have been from what you installed), your logs do not show any malware problems. I do question what one file is though. Do you know what this is

    C:\WINDOWS\bnsacomm64_c.dll

It has a file date of June 27, 2007.

The email password cracker that CounterSpy removed may have been from Advanced Office Password Recovery (remove only) which you installed.

As far as slow downs with startup, uninstall CounterSpy since you are finished with it and then also stop loading things that are not necessary. Things like toolbars and other unnecessary startups will slow you down.

    Thank you chaslang :)

    I don't know about C:\WINDOWS\bnsacomm64_c.dll
    Google doesn't find anything.

Can it be something related to gmer (similar date) or brother lan printer ?
I'll try to move the file and reboot to see if something wrong.

No it is not part of GMER. It could be related to Brother but I doubt it. Right click on it an select Properties and then the Version tab and work your way though the item information to see if you can find out who it belongs too.

The file C:\WINDOWS\bnsacomm64_c.dll is only 16 byte.

I could not find any information on properties tab, however i found the file in the system registry:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5603]
    "000"="bnsacomm64_c.dll"

Looks like i made a blunder

The registry entry just shows that i look for the file in explorer, so we are still wondering who it belongs too.

If you think it can be useful, i can post it as an attachement.

You can attach the file by putting it into a ZIP file but it may not be that useful.

I would suggest that you rename bnsacomm64_c.dll to bnsacomm64_c.dll.bak

and then reboot and run your PC for a couple of days to make sure no problems occur in any programs you run. If everything is okay, you can then delete the file completely.

OK, i attach the zip file and rename it for a while before deleting completely.

I see nothing in there that could help determine what the file was for. If you PC and software run fine without it then leave it that way. Otherwise you could always download it from what you attached.
