    Hello,
I purchased an IP Phone miodel Nortel 2001.
I do not have power for it since it did not come with a power adaptor and my router does not support POE ( power over ethernet )
Anyways I called up Nortel and asked them about this and they answered that I cannot use this phone at home.
That I need a PCX switching network or something.
WHy cant I use this as a reguilar IP Phone connected directly to my router?
I used to have a Linksys IP Phone and it worked fine ( with adapter to connect my analogue phone to it )
My question is, how do I get this to work?
My Internet Provider provides me with IP Phone service.

    Regards

    Fynx
