REMOVE program button missing in Windows control panel

    Hello.

    A few days ago I ran a program which cleans Windows Registry. Since then, every program and file seemed ok.

    But today I decided to uninstall a given program. I opened Windows (XP) control panel, and clicked on remove/install programs.

    The usual list of installed programs appears, but ... the change & remove buttons disappeared for all softwares but two of them !

    Any idea ?

    You might want to do a system restore, right click my computer, properties, system restore, restore to an earlier date, try back at least the amount of days you remember it being there. ed
