Malware Infection - hlp please

    Hi guys, did the recommended scans and you should find the logs attached. I didn't see a place where spybot keeps a log so I took a screenshot of the items removed and will attach that for you as well. Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks!:cool

    Do you know what this is:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\pronykahdy.html

    Please download and install:
    Java Runtime 6

    Use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\8w7OdyhG.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\07sx5v8y.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\QPlwBkEm.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\t2l8gMVh.exe

    Now tell me exactly what problems you are having.

    thanks for the reply, i'll delete those files. I thought i already had java but i'll dl/install anyways.

    My system slowed down, but I wasn't getting popups. I just had a feeling that my system was infected. Thanks!

    add:
    I looked for the pronykahdy.html and the rest of the files under system32 but none were there. I do have the "show hidden files" enabled.

    Perhaps you should run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file....just so I can be sure. :)
